Larry D. Devereaux, age 63, of Coral, formerly of Ionia and Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, following a brief illness at Spectrum Health, Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids.  He was born in Lansing Michigan, the son of Darrel and Jacqueline (Minaker) Devereaux.  Larry was raised in the Potterville / Dimondale area and graduated from Potterville High School with the Class of 1969.  He married Terry Kay Adair in Greenville on May 27, 1972 and she survives.  Larry and Terry worked together as an over the road truck driving team for many years.  Larry had worked for the same trucking company for over twenty years, starting with Gainey Transportation which was later called GTS and is now Super Service Trucking.   Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing and working his hobby farm near Coral which he bought a few years ago planning ahead for an active retirement.  He was a life member of the North American Hunting Club, had a great sense of humor and loved to play practical jokes on anyone and everyone he was with.


In addition to his dear wife, Terry, Larry leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Jacqueline Devereaux; children Larry D. Devereaux II, of Coral, Teresa Ann Devereaux of Coral, Christopher (Lisa) David Devereaux of Ionia; and Krystal, Marie (Craig) Emmons of Ionia; grandchildren Dalton, Heaven, Jadah, Michael, Alana and Willow; siblings Ronald (Kathy) of Belding, Debra of Mt. Pleasant and Dawn of Michigan; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Darrel Devereaux, and siblings Darrel Jr., Michael and Gary.
