Lindsay Marie (Fuller) Rohde, 29

Lindsay Marie (Fuller) Rohde, age 29, of Caledonia, formerly of Belding, passed away at Metro Health Hospital in Wyoming, surrounded by her loving family on July 25, 2016, following a brief illness.  She was born on May 19, 1987, in Grand Rapids the daughter of Christine Kay (Dehn) Fuller and the late Steven L. Fuller.  Lindsay graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 2005, and continued her education at Grand Rapids Community College completing an Associate Degree. She was still working on her Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice at Ferris State University, and had been employed as a teacher at a pre-school learning center.  She married Judd Charles Rohde on November 9, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids.  Lindsay was a sports fanatic with two favorite football teams, University of Michigan at the college level and the Green Bay Packers at the professional level.  She did not just watch sports as she loved to play softball herself and worked as a softball coach at Union High School for several years. She was a fun-loving person, who was always a joy to be around and was a devoted aunt to her nieces and nephews. 

 

The memory of Lindsay will be cherished by her loving husband Judd, her mother Christine Kay Fuller of Belding; her siblings Stephanie A. Fuller, Tara L. (Steve) Fuller-Bartholomew and Erik J. (Maria Jimenez) Fuller all of Belding; her in-laws, Mark & Gayle Rohde, Deb Rohde & Mitch Scholten all of Grand Rapids; her  a sister-in-law Erica Anne (Chris) Macomber of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin; nieces and nephews, Tyler J. Kuiper, Anna-Marie C. Kuiper, Sophia M. Fuller, Jonah S. Fuller, Amelia M. Fuller, Lyra Macomber and Kenna Macomber; dear friend Vanessa “Vinnie” Braman; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  In addition to her father, Steven, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jack & Marie Dehn, Lloyd Fuller and Anna Belle VanDomlen.

 

The family will greet visitors on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Shiloh Community Church, 8197 Heth Street, Orleans, Michigan 48865.  A Life Celebration Service will take place at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, July 29, 2016 at Shiloh Community Church, with Pastor Ken Harger officiating.  The family will greet visitors for an hour prior to the service beginning at 12 Noon.  Those wishing to express their sympathy through a memorial donation in Lindsay’s memory, are welcomed to consider C.S.Motts Children’s Hospital or Bethany Christian Services.  Envelopes will be available at the services or by contacting Verdun Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, who is caring for the arrangements, (616) 794-1300 or verdunfh.com.
