Beverly L. Ricks

Beverly Lynn Ricks, age 67, of Carson City, formerly of Belding and Greenville, passed away at Sparrow Health, Carson City Hospital, early Monday morning, August 21, 2023. She was born on May 29, 1956, in Greenville, Michigan, daughter of Gerald William Crystal Ellen (Wilson) Ricks, Sr., both of whom preceded her in death. Beverly attended Belding Area Schools with the Class of 1974.  After she completed her education, she worked in assembly for Gibson’s Manufacturing for many years.  While Beverly loved all types of fun pastimes, she loved the thrill of riding her Harley and fast horses. She also enjoyed time with family at picnics and parties and was always drawn to the smallest children there.  She was a good mother and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.     

Memories of Beverly will be cherished by her entire family, including children Gerald J. (Cassondra Gloden) Ricks of Carson City and Robert J. (Joy) Ricks of Belding; grandchildren Justin, Brooke, Aubrey and Robert Ricks; siblings Maxine Nieto of Sheridan, William Ricks of Greenville, Judith (James) DeJohnette-Franks of Wisconsin and Gerald Ricks, Jr. of Belding, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. In addition to her parents and grandparents, she was preceded in death by an infant sibling, Robert Elroy Ricks; a niece, Crystal E. Ricks; and a great-nephew, Randy J. Bunce.
