Cindy Marie Burns-Leiter

Cindy Marie Burns-Leiter, age 51, of Belding, formerly of Charlotte, passed away on June 26, 2019, at Spectrum Health, Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. She was born in Charlotte, Michigan on June 19, 1968, the daughter of Gerald Allen and Nola A. (Whiter) Dankenbring, both of whom preceded her in death. She graduated from Charlotte High School and continued her education in nursing studies. In addition to her focus on Nursing, she worked in custodial services for several businesses. She married Harry Ray Leiter on May 5, 2018 at Bertha Brock Park near Ionia and he survives. Cindy attended Portland Baptist Church and was a tried and true “Crafter”, operating crafting business that had been part of her family for years. Among other skills, she was accomplished at crocheting making quilts, doll clothes and many other treasures.

Cindy leaves behind her caring husband, Harry, and a daughter, Sheiltia Lynn Burns of Ionia; several brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald.
