David Duane Jewell

David Duane Jewell 64 years old passed away June 4, 2023, from a brief battle with an illness. David was born on July 16, 1958, the son of Duane and Doris (Herrington) Jewell in Belding, Michigan.

David spent his career working for Travis Pest Control. He was a friendly man always willing to strike up a conversation and get to know new people. When David was not working you would be able to find him on the boat spending time with family and friends or riding his motorcycle. Some of David's hobbies are model cars, working on his boat, cooking, or tinkering with anything he thought was interesting. David loved to lend a hand and help family and friends when needed. David spent a lot of time traveling in his younger years before he landed himself back in Michigan with his family.

David is survived by his siblings Denise (Kevin) Brygal of Sydney, Dwight (Bonnie) Jewell of Greenville, Michelle Duke, Michael Jewell, and Duana Patterson all of Alabama. His longtime friend Shona Morgan of Greeneville as well as his son Michael (Tara) Bowerman of Belding and four other children Amos, Carmin, Shawn, and Jordan as well as his special grandson Nathan and many longtime family members and friends.

David is proceeded in death by his dad Duane Jewell and mother Doris Jewell

Per David's request a funeral and visitation will not take place, but a Celebration of Life will take place Sunday, July 16th at Wabasis Lake from 2pm until 4pm. Those wishing to express their sympathy are welcomed to consider a contribution to the needs of the family.
