Diane L. Timmons

Diane Leslie (Shaw) Timmons, age 72, of Grattan Township, passed away at home following a long illness on August 10, 2022. She was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan, on November 3, 1949, daughter of Edward Ronald and Frances Doris (MacKellar) Shaw, both of whom preceded her in death. Diane began high school at Three Oaks and graduated from the consolidated River Valley High School with the Class of 1967. She exchanged vows with Kim Patrick Timmons on January 19, 1977, at East Congregational Church in Grand Rapids, and they have shared more than 45 years of marriage. Through the years she has worked as a billing clerk for Amway Corporation, substitute taught at Belding Area Schools and also worked for Grattan Township for a time but raising her family and keeping her home was her primary focus. In her spare time, she loved to scrap book and had several close friends who shared that passion. The group would meet locally or load up their supplies and venture off to a remote location to spend a weekend or longer putting together beautiful albums that chronicled life’s important events and milestones. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Diane leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband, Kim; children, Carly (Joel) Evans of Rockford, Patrick Timmons of Boston, and Allison (Beau) Brommel of Cedar Springs; grandchildren Braiden Evans, Declan Evans, and Nash Brommel.
