Everitt "Mark" Marshall Dusette, Jr

Everitt Marshall “Mark” Dusette, Jr., age 66, of Fenwick, passed away at Spectrum Health – Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids, on Thursday, September 9, 2021. He was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, son of Everitt Marshall and Phyllis R. (Papist) Dusette, Sr., both of whom preceded him in death. He graduated from Armada Schools, then proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and Army-National Guard. When his military service ended, he continued his education at Northern Michigan university earning and Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting. He worked in several capacities throughout his lifetime, with the much of it spent as an over the road truck driver. During the many, many trips he made, it was not uncommon to see his wife, Dianna accompanying him in the passenger seat. He exchanged vows with her on March 29, 1980, in Boyne City, Michigan and they enjoyed 41 years of marriage. Mark loved the outdoors and the many activities available there including fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed spending time in his shop making something of wood or taking on some other project.

Mark leaves to cherish his memory, his dear wife, Dianna of Fenwick; his children, David Mark (Rosalee) Dusette of Negaunee, Michigan, Katrina Marie Brown of Sheridan, Tonya Ellen Dusette of Fenwick and Maxwell Jeffrey Dusette of West Olive, Michigan; 9 grandchildren; several siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jonathan, and his mother-in-law, Geneva Dittrich.

Mark’s family will remember him at a Celebration Of Life Gathering to be held at Verdun Family Funeral Home, 303 S. Bridge Street, Belding, Michigan 48809, on Saturday, October 9, 2021, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., to which all are welcome.
