Justin Thomas King, age 31, of Greenville, formerly of Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, June 4, 2020. He was born on December 8, 1988 in Greenville, Michigan the son of Robert V. King and Diane L. Durham. Justin graduated from Belding High School and worked for several years at Yellowstone National Park, a job which he loved. He also loved music of almost any type and surrounded himself with it whenever he could. He played the keyboard, harmonica and guitar for enjoyment and also played in a band for several years. He also enjoyed the great outdoors and watched birds near his apartment for hours, using a guidebook to identify them by their colors and markings. He loved spending time with family and friends and will truly be missed.
Justin’s dear family includes his siblings, Alexis Jo King, Jason Durham, Josh Puehler, Jamie Wells, Emilee Silvernail, Jenna Kimball and Brandy Decker; aunts Mary ( Mike ) Paige, Nancy ( Darrell ) King and Ruth Hawley; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was proceeded in death by his father, Robert “Bobby” King, and his grandparents.
A Life Celebration Service will take place at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 12, 2020, at Family Life Center Church of God, 8683 Storey Road, Belding, Michigan 48809 with Pastor William Overton Officiating. Those wishing to express sympathy through a memorial donation are welcomed to consider the Epilepsy Foundation.
