Mark Steven Clark, age 61, of Fenwick, passed away at home under hospice care, following a brief battle with cancer, on Friday, October 12, 2018. He was born on August 4, 1957, in Belding, Michigan, the son of Fred Marion and Deloris Marie (Austin) Myers, both of whom preceded him in death. He attended Belding Area Schools and worked as a welder for many years, retiring when Electrolux closed in Belding. He became very skilled at his trade and knew a quality weld when he saw one. He had many hobbies and interests including stock car racing, always driving a Chevrolet. He also bought several antique tractors and would go on tour with friends making their way to the “Old fashion Days” event in Stanton. He simply enjoyed tinkering with anything. He did some prospecting for gold and was a talented carpenter as well. He also enjoyed nature and animals with a special place in his heart for his pet cat, “Mow”. Mark had a great group of friends with whom he spent a lot of time making great memories.
Mark leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Fred N. (Janet) Clark of Belding; nieces and nephews, Amber M. (Allen Flanigan) Carlson of Belding, Megon L. (Christopher) Meinke of Belding, Fred J. Clark of Florida, Matthew S. (Alyssia) Clark of Greenville, Brady Badder and Nicholas Badder both of Belding; great nieces and nephews, Owen S. Meinke, Mya L. Meinke, Ava M. Meinke and Wyatt Clark; and several close friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Minnie Clark and Ivan and Zelpha Austin; and a sister, Renee M. Clark.
