Maryellen (Galbreath) Miller, age 80, of Lowell, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Green Acres Assisted Living Center in Lowell, under the care of her loving family and hospice. She was born on June 8, 1938, in Plymouth, Michigan, the daughter of Leonard Adlai and Opel “Faye” (Helvie) Galbreath. She worked for many years at Lowell Engineering. Maryellen married Frank Miller in January 7, 1956, and shared 28 years of marriage with prior to his death on March 2, 1984.
Maryellen is survived by her children, Lee (Mary) Miller of Greenville, Lonnie (Sharon) Miller of Clarksville, Barb (Chris) Egeler of Ludington and Russ (Reza) Miller of Greenville; brothers, Floyd (Ginnie) Galbreath and Stan Galbreath; sisters-in-law Esther Miller and Betty Miller; grandchildren Karen (Rob) White, Patrick (Ashley) Miller, Jason Foster, Kelly (Scott) Bruinekool, Steve Miller, Josh (Veronica) Miller, Kenny (Chelsey) Miller. Aeron Lahoy Lahoy Miller and Amanda Miller; twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and several close and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Merle (Helen) Galbreath, a sister, Marion (Wallace) Miller, and a grandson, Matthew Miller.
Private family burial services are being planned at Graceland Memorial Park in Grand rapids, following cremation. Memorial contributions in Maryellen’s name are recommended to Spectrum Health Hospice.
