Patrick Allen “Pat” Derosha

Patrick Allen “Pat” Derosha, age 63, of Fenwick, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Spectrum Health – Blodgett Campus in Grand Rapids. Pat was born on October 8, 1953, in Carson City, Michigan, the son of, Leo Alexander and Vernietta June (Baumgardner) Derosha, both of whom preceded him in death. He graduated from Greenville High School and was a Master Hi-Lo Driver for Meijer Corporation for 41 years. While working there, he served as the Union Steward and Representative for Food Workers Union Local 951. Following his retirement, he was able to enjoy more hunting and fishing and spent as much time as possible outdoors. He enjoyed working on cars and enjoyed building things like pole barns, decks—a talent which will be missed by his family and friends. He also had a great sense of humor.

Pat leaves to cherish his memory, his prior wife and the mother of his children, Mary Frances Derosha; his children Jeff (Suzzie) Derosha of Saranac, Joe (Polly) Derosha of Irons, and Lisa Derosha of Greenville and a close family friend whom he considered a son, Jeff Puehler; his grandchildren, Kyle, Karlee, Seth, Cody (Charlene), Jarred, Levi, Halle Sean, Mandy and Reilly; Great Grandchildren Blake, Wyatt, Emma and Kaylee; siblings Mike (Lynda Mann) Derosha of Belding, and Deb Hopkins of Greenville. And several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A Memorial Visitation and luncheon will take place on Saturday, April 29, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Shiloh Community Church, 8197 Heth Street, Orleans, Michigan. Those wishing to express their sympathy through a memorial contribution are welcomed to consider a donation in Pat’s memory to Leukemia/Lymphoma Society or to the wishes of the family.
