Patrick Arthur “Pat” Keeshan

Patrick Arthur “Pat” Keeshan, age 46, of Morley, formerly of Belding, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. He was born in Greenville, Michigan on October 19, 1970, the son of Ginger Leigh Lafferty, who preceded him in death in 1984. Patrick attended Belding Area Schools with the Class of 1989, and worked in several capacities during his lifetime. One job he took particular pride in was barn restoration and reclamation while working with an organization called “Barn Cats”. He loved to go fishing and went as often as he could with his grandpa, Ted. He also enjoyed camping with family and friends.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his grandmother, Caroyn Lafferty of Rockford; his daughter, Briona Rose of Grand Rapids; siblings, Marny Woodworth of Morley, Nani Keeshan of Sacramento, California and Nicholas Mosher of Bothell, Washington; aunts, Ellen (Jeff) Neitzel of Cedar Springs and Susan Johnson of Belding; 7 nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Theodore Lafferty.

Patrick’s family will host a Life Celebration Gathering at Verdun Family Funeral Home, 303 S. Bridge Street, Belding, Michigan 48809, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Friday, May 12. Those considering an expression of sympathy are welcomed to consider a memorial contribution in Pat’s memory to the wishes of the family.
