Richard "Dick" Bruff

Richard Thomas “Dick” Bruff, age 83, of Belding, passed away January 28, 2023, at Spectrum Hospital in Greenville, Michigan. He graduated from Belding High School, served in the United States Air Force and upon his return home, he entered into a career in the building trades, retiring as a Construction Manager. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, casinos, playing cards and spending time with his wife and family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; 6 children, Bambi (Mark Hoppough) Hale, Kendra (John) Sysak, Roberta (Roger Conley) Riggs, Dawn (Mike) Moomey, Cris Wieland and Richard Bruff, Jr.; two sisters, Betty (Bud) Ross and barb (Boyd) Meyers; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry & Beatrice (Lowe) Bruff and a grandson, Toby Wieland.

A Celebration of Life, with Military Honors, will take place beginning at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at the Belding American Legion Post, 121 S. Broas Street, Belding, Michigan, 48809, with Robert “Bobby” Bruff and the Belding Combined Honor Guard officiating. Memorial donations are welcomed to the Wounded Warrior Project.
