Thomas L. Chubinski

Thomas Larry Chubinski, age 77, of Grand Rapids, passed away on December 30, 2023, at Laurels of Hudsonville.  He was the son of the late Floyd and Lucille Chubinski, and step-son of Harvey Yokum.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (LeGwin) Chubinski.  Tom was a graduate of Davenport College and Northwoods Institute.  He was an award-winning photographer who documented hundreds of weddings during his career.  An avid railroad buff, Tom was a founding member and served on the Board of the Coopersville and Marne Railroad and owned and restored cabooses over the years.  Cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Service is being planned for spring at the Coopersville Depot of the Coopersville and Marne Railroad.  Memorial donations are recommended to the Coopersville and Marne Railway as well.
